You must be real soul mates!
It's lovely to see couples who stick together. Please accept my congratulations and best wishes for the future.
Christina.
20 years ago today, you said "i do".
20 years later, i say "i do love you forever".
it's been a wonderful journey, and i think we are just getting started.

We should have won without extra time. We were nearly robbed! Who was that referee? Great result - well deserved!

we are having so much fun talking with everyone.
there are about 30 here tonight, and we just had dinner, ...............chicken on the bbq, coleslaw, and lots of good appetizers.. angharad, and "her ladyship" (also known as englishman's wife), and inky are in the hot tub, and there are little groups of conversation going on all over the house and outside on the deck.. cruzanheart, bigtex and sixofnine got here a few minutes ago.
there are 8 from england so far, including a very nice couple who were on my flight from atlanta.. several of us went out on joy and steve's big sailboat for several hours and it was so fun, and relaxing.. tomorrow we get ready for the big halloween party.
Thank you everybody for making my first trip to the USA such a fantastic experience. Thanks especially to Steve and Joy - I've never felt more welcomed! I went back to work today but even that hasn't got rid of the glow. I keep getting flashbacks - pelicans on the beach, Little Toes fiddling, great conversations, sailing, oysters, trick and treating.I would try to mention all the people I've loved talking to but I'm so worried that I'll miss someone out...........I hope you'll let me back next time!

i came across a post here a day or two ago where the poster mentioned they were the spouse of so and so.
so in the interest of board harmonics, (really i'm just a curious / nosy sob) ...... 1. who here is married / partnered with / related to other posters here ?
and what are your usernames / aliases?.
What does crudgemudgonly mean? Do you mean like Victor Meldrew? Well yeah......

I am actually married to a certain very cuddly Englishman.

i've thought about this, the problem is there are so many wonderful choice's, i don't know where to start!
i always had a thing for tiffany, the singer, when i was younger!
It would have to be somebody with a sense of humour.
John Cleese!
Her Ladyship.
yep, she does indeed.
tomorrow, may 28, is her birthday.
she's not sensitive about her age, so i can tell you that this is indeed a big one.
Thanks for all your greetings. I had a lovely birthday. Mike bought me lunch at 'Woods' in Bath - oysters to start! We followed this with a bit of a bash in the local pub. I wouldn't mind being 50 every year....but I don't much fancy 51 or 52 or 53........
Hugs to you all

Thanks everyone - I will enjoy my birthday tomorrow. However, despite what Mike says I am dreading the big step from forties to fifties! Life does seem to get better though.
Look forward to seeing you at our barbecue in July if you can make it.
Love to everyone....Christina (Her Ladyship)
3 times a year, at the end of every college term, her ladyship likes to have a joke to tell at the end of term party.
normally softly spoken and amiable, she likes to have a well rehearsed, totally original joke to tell at the party, the more raucous the better as far as she is concerned.
in fact, she has become something of a legend now, so that she is already being asked if she has her joke sorted out for xmas, so good at the telling of them is she.. the problem is, that this terms joke, whilst being exceedingly funny, does require the use of a welsh accent.
Thank you all so much!
I think that the joke about George W Bush and Colin Powell is the easiest one for me. I will let you know how well it goes down at the end of term party.

.
he's going to be a grandad!, .
congratulations eman.
Thanks for all your nice thoughts. I'm really looking forward to being a grandmother. I've looked out some old baby photos of Simon and sent them to his girlfriend. That should put her off!
Regards to you all - Christina
